Usage

UV184 is an α-hydroxyarylketone photoinitiator with less odor after cross-linking cure. It is not only suitable for general photopolymerization systems, but also suitable for varnish, emulsion or latex type photopolymerization systems, water-soluble photopolymerization systems, and acrylate series UV curing varnishes for paper, metal and plastic surfaces. It is especially recommended for UV materials that require only a slight yellowing even after prolonged exposure to sunlight. Generally, it is added together with other photoinitiators. By using it together with the light stabilizer LS292, the yellowing of the acrylic system polyurethane under outdoor sunlight can be further reduced. The recommended addition amount is 2-5 wt%.
